Sick instrumental tape from T-Dot based Elaquent. I just recently got put onto EQ, and my 3 month relationship with his music has been love at first sight to put it modestly. Although I've never been the biggest Dilla stan, even I could tell that EQ was 'harboring a great influence from the late great Mr. Yancey'. Hints of Madlib, Wu samples, ridiculous crate-digging.
It's hard not to enjoy this tape. Short and direct, while still providing the motivation you need to further excavate Elaquent's discography. This is a must-cop trust.
