When people mention hip hop in 1994, it can be easily summarized by one word: Illmatic. Which is a shame since O.C. dropped a classic album in Word....Life.Born 2 Live is my favorite jawn simply because of the intricate storytelling aspect. O.C. was on some Slick Rick/Biggie shit when he told stories, and this cut is a prime example.
