Slick Rick wrote this jawn over 20 years ago, and ironically every word is true. Who would have thought? I for one have a tendency to put advice (given in the form of song) by a one-eyed, chain-worth more than your house, UK-accented rapper deep in the crevices of my brain storage. On a random note, how classic is that first line: "Here's an oldie but goodie"? Slick Rick originated a phrase that I use at least once a day.
