Three milks? The initial un-parenthesized title has always been lost on me. That said, this is my undisputed favorite off Capital Punishment. There's something so ill about Inspectah Deck and Prodigy spitting alongside the hefty one.And that's without mentioning RZA's beat. From the Rakim sample to the Tony Montana voice-over and the scratched hook. Shit, I might be wrong, but this is one of Bobby Digital's finest in my opinion.
On a final note, I've always thought it was funny how Pun threatened to "call you gay on Hot 97".

Great post, but my favorite on Capital Punishment is still "Super Lyrical." Hearing Black Thought and Pun go in, that's two of the best lyricists of all time ripping the track to shreds. Timeless!
ReplyDeleteLove this song, RZA does a great job of the production (even if it does sound a lot like Who Shot Ya, to me at least). And I love that RZA scratches on this one, why doesn't he do more of this? Great album and a great song indeed - shaun
