My ignorant ass knew nothing about this collaboration until a few days ago. And I've already packed in three or four full listens to The Great Summit: The Complete Sessions.This particular song stood out to me not so much because it was aesthetically better than any of the others, but moreso because it took me to a place that I've only read about: The Harlem Renaissance. A cultural mecca of creativity and musical mastery. I wish I was a '20's baby.
