Pete Rock & CL Smooth- Return Of The Mecca

I remember that I thought C.L. Smooth was weak sauce after hearing TROY and his mediocre lyrical performance. Luckily, his average storytelling abilities do not carry over to the rest of Mecca And The Soulbrother. In fact, CL bodies Return Of The Mecca something proper. Not saying Pete's production isn't worth anything, but his partner in rhyme finally provides a performance that equals the instrumental in prowess.
