There's no way to deny the fact that Rawkus was releasing some serious heat rocks back in the day. Mos & Kweli produced one of the all-time gems in the Rawkus catalog with the Black Star album.Respiration is one of those jawns that stays with you after you digested the album and learned what the music is about. Some of the shit Mos is spittin' is far beyond it's time, even overshadowing Lonnie Lynn and 'Lib.
