I was surprised when I found this jawn on J-Live's semi-recently released (2008) Then What Happened. I enjoy J's lyrical barbs and diatribes, but dude's ear for beats is type formulaic. However, the instrumental for The Upgrade sounds like some new-age production that may have been handled by emcee/producer Oddisee of the DMV.The track listing for The Upgrade lists Posdanous as one of the features. Probably a typo for De La's Posdnuos, but I haven't listened to those dudes enough to be sure.
