I'll admit that I really liked Exhibit C when it came out. However, the bullshit spectacle that surrounded Jay Elec after the fact was somewhat disheartening. So, when I received Lateef Dameer's tape of Exhibit C remixes, I almost dismissed it. Thankfully, I gave dukes a chance and he really delivered a different feel to Just Blaze's dramatic instrumental. On Magnolia, it's type chilled with the feel of an actual jawn that focuses on structure rather than the punchline style equipped by Just Blaze. Give this remix a chance, it's definitely an different listen, but I believe it has it's fair share of merits.
