GZA's Liquid Swords was the first solo Wu-Tang effort I ever heard. Before Tical or Supreme Clientele or even Only Built 4 Cuban Linx. Needless to say this album holds a special place in my heart. The title track is something else. With a platonic yet hypnotizing instrumental, The Genius rocks an awkward flow yet still provides verbal imagery unmatched.
seeing him in september for the liquid swords show! can't wait
