This is a cut off Rashid Hadee's It Ain't Hard To Tell EP. This track definitely appears on other tapes too, but I believe this was it's origin. If I haven't said it enuff times already I'll say it once more, Rashid Hadee is the truth, and you should check out all his shit. I ain't really with that 808's remake, but it's still far more listenable than 'Ye's OG version.

Termanology-Circulate (100 Bars)
You see dukes rocking the Sheed? That's my dunny, yo! Rasheed is way past his prime, but still one of the illest characters to ever touch the rock. If I recall correctly, this was the single off that J Dilla tribute tape that Termanology released approximately two years back. I like how he went with no hook & straight ripped that shit.

Nas-The World Is Yours (Remix)
Just got a new computer, so posts might be a little sporadic. Like a true ignoramus, I don't know much about this jawn. I assume this is the track that Jay sampled for Dead Presidents II, and I did recognize that the second verse was different from the OG copy. Also probably the rillest Nas video in his videography.

Above The Law feat. NWA-The Last Song
Off that Livin' Like Hustlers tape from 1990. That 9.2 Richter scale type shit, yanahmean? Above The Law are dope in and of themselves as early left-coast innovators, but they sound well ill trading verses with Dre & Eazy. And the production ain't even a question, that shit always comes correct.

I've already posted a bunch of jawns off this tape, but I really fucks with this track and have no time to look around my collection for something more classical, nahmean? I'm a be back on my shit soon though.

Ras Kass feat. Saafir & Ahmad-Come Widdit (Joe Quixx Remix)
I'm not sure how the OG copy of this jawn got put out (maybe just as a Priority Records mini posse-cut), but I found this track on an type excellent Rassy compilation done by the Philaflava peoples here. I think it bumps far harder than the OG, but then again it doesn't have an classic video accompanying it, so who knows...

Will Vill-G Up
I already posted one of Will Vill's albums on here somewhere, and now dukes released a new tape (that you can find on Unkut). It's pretty dope for a '10 tape & this track is pretty crazy, especially how well Will flows over this eccentric instrumental.

Royce Da 5'9 feat. Stretch Money-Let The Beat Build Freestyle
I fail to believe that this is Royce going off the top. Not to shortchange 5'9's freesyling skillz at all, but this is dukes at the apex of his lyrical game. Rips it type proper over this Yeezy instrumental & weed-carrier Stretch Money does his thang as well.

Curren$y-Bout It
It took me a while to get to that Smokee Robinson tape. It's well similar to the rest of Spitta's tapes, in that it's pretty mediocre with the exception of a few select jawns. Some predictable bragadoccio shit, but that Soul On Ice reference is what I'm about.

I've already posted the majority of jawns off McGruff's The Demo EP, but one more ain't gonna hurt, innit? This track isn't really anything spectacular, but hopefully it will be enuff for that gully NY sound you been yearning for.

Wale-Nike Boots
I legitimately like this jawn, despite it's sprawling advocacy of materialism. Young Wayne did a remix of this jawn and ripped it right well.
The young spitta from DC did his thing as well though, and despite not equipping his stream-of-consciousness flow, came through with some rapps to make the DMV proud.

Cypress Hill-Latin Lingo
Jus' the funky bilinguals with some flava fo' that ass. Maybe I'm just speaking for myself, but this video, this instrumental, these rhymes... that's what we're missing from hip-hop. And maybe some buddha heads rocking Pantera shirts!

Tragedy Khadafi-Ryder Musik
I don't know if I'm about the newer Trag shit, I mean it's well dope and dukes certainly doesn't change the subject matter, but it's not even comparable to the man's earlier material. This comes off a somewhat newer tape called The Death Of Tragedy, dope production, predictably ill rhimes, well worth copping.

SoulChef feat. Unknown Suspect-Never Too Late
I was put on to this record by Incise's people. Apparently dukes (producer for Prince Ali's I Miss 1994) recently created a label entitled Kitchen Dip Records & one of their new acts is SoulChef. You can cop his tapes here.
This is my favorite jawn off Remember When, the production really stands out and this dude Unknown Suspect rips it. Nostalgic rapps nahmean?

Statik Selektah feat. Kali, Fashawn & Evidence-The Coast
One thing I don't do is give undue props. That said, Statik Selektah has shown countless examples of him being this generation's Primo. Dukes doesn't have the consistency nor the prowess with the hooks, but I mean are you hearing this instrumental? Are you seeing my man rockin' the Warriors tee? Shit is beyond ill man. Especially when Fash drops his lyrical thesis.

Common Market-Tobacco Road
That sharecropper farm rapp fo' ya ass. On the real, I find it immensely dope that RA Scion waxes poetic on otherwise untouched subject matters in hip-hop over Sabzi's majestic instrumentals. Tobacco Road is an eponymous example, one of the many jawns in the Common Market discog that combine thoughtful rapps with excellent production.

Ice Cube-Dead Homiez
I haven't been too deep into Cube's shit lately, but I heard AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted today, and had to go through dukes' entire discog. It's remarkable how consistent the man has been throughout his career, and it's only fitting that he would have an classic opus in Most Wanted.
Dead Homiez was one of the singles off the album, and is arguably one of the dopest jawns Cube has released in his career.

Juice feat. The Game & Nas-Ain't No Half-Steppin' 3
Nasir does somewhat phone in his verse on this jawn, but it's still a decent performance. Especially impressive to think that Juice would pay homage to Kane on a mixtape littered with left-coast bangers. That's not to say that this track is anything amazing, cos it isn't, but it's somewhat dope.

Black Star-What's Beef
You probably already heard this shit on The Chappelle Show, but shit's well worth another listen. Sadly, there was never a quality release for this jawn, and I could only find a censored & somewhat quiet version of it.
Also, I hate to say this, but Kweli kills it. And I say that in all sincerity, cos I hate to give Kweli props, especially on Black Star tracks. Yo BIG, what's beef?
