The Game-Red Bandana

This was the track that Game bodied G-Unit with, in my opinion. If you copped that History Of Beef tape I made a long while back, you already have this track, but if you somehow haven't copped that tape yet, you need this joint. One of the best diss tracks in recent history to be sure. Not that any of us want to hear Jayceon going on for 2 1/2 minutes about this and that at the end, but still well worth checking out.

Westside Connection-King Of The Hill

Speaking of my favorite meat, I was watching Beef II yesterday and got an opportunity to recollect on the Westside Connection/Cypress Hill beef. Never knew shit was so serious, or as serious as Beef makes shit out to be, which I assume is obviously exaggerated.
Although the documentary made it seem like Cypress Hill emerged the victor (even if only by a hair), I think King Of The Hill is the illest diss track that emerged from the 'beef'.

Canibus-Second Round K.O.

By no means am I a Can-I-Bus stan, but I do admit that he shook LL Cool J something rugged with this jawn. The intro with Nas was gimmicky as fuck, but 'Bus made up for it with rhymes of fury. Come to think of it, that's the problem with almost every good song on Can-I-Bus; the intro makes you not want to hear the rest of the jawn.

It takes a good minute before you can really start listening to this minimalistic instrumental and truly appreciate all that Big Poppa is saying. And the hook/chorus/refrain is the stuff of legends.

Young Jeezy feat. Techniec- Stay Strapped (G-Unot Remix)

While I'm So Wavy hasn't taken to my ears very well, I have to admit that Game's diss tracks of the past are worth a few listens. That said, four years ago when Jayceon had beef with 50, he released a few mixtapes composed primarily of disses. Stop Snitchin', Stop Lyin' is best known, but this particular joint comes off a tape called Ghost Unit. Admittedly, the cover might just be the part of the whole mixtape, but towards the end of the tape, there's a remix of Jeezy's Stay Strapped (an infamous diss directed towards Gucci Mane).
It's basically the entirety of Jeezy's verse with an added verse from Techniec, Black Wall Street weed carrier extraordanaire. It's shorter and more succinct than the original, which makes it worthy of a listen.
