Alley Boy feat. Young Jeezy-Pocket Full Of Money

Shouts to Yams @ RNT, I found this track through an Alley Boy compilation that he made. Track is piff, but you all probably knew that. I'm kind of late on all this new music.

Rashid Hadee-Hadiesel

Some more piff from Hadee off a tape he released a short while back entitled Hadiesel: The Fuel Up. Dope to finally see a video from Rashid.

Skyzoo feat. Torae-Barrel Brothers

This is off a tape that Sky made last year with DJ Illmind. called Live From The Tape Deck. A dope tape, well worth checking out. It should obviously come as little surprise that the premier jawn features Torae over an incredibly ill instrumental.

Das Racist-Rapping 2 u

Try to tell me you can listen to this track without getting goosebumps. Just try. Like I told my dude Ev, listening to this joint is an almost spiritual experience.

Statik Selektah & Termanology feat. Styles P-Tell Me Lies

More Statik Selektah-produced piff. This is off one of those tapes that Stat & Term threw together recently. The Styles feature is type ill as well, dukes really delivers & complements Term's braggadocio with some swag rapps of his own. You can't go too gully over a soul sample, come on b!

Tyler The Creator & Domo Genesis-Double Cheeseburgers

I really hate to jump on these guys' bandwagon, but I can't deny that these kids are consistently releasing ill material. This jawn particularly stood out to me cos of the simplistic beat & Domo's flow. Tyler's verse sounds a bit awkward at first, but he ends up delivering some clever witticisms & Domo's verse, although short, proves to be well dope.

Celph Titled & Buckwild-The Deal Maker

I don't know if it's in poor taste to post this jawn cos the album was just released a month or two ago, but this is some piff that needs play. I didn't really fuck with much of Celph's earlier shit, but hopping on tracks with Buckwild is definitely a good look for dukes. This instrumental almost sounds like one of those beats on Buck's unreleased tape.

Will Vill-G Up

I already posted one of Will Vill's albums on here somewhere, and now dukes released a new tape (that you can find on Unkut).  It's pretty dope for a '10 tape & this track is pretty crazy, especially how well Will flows over this eccentric instrumental.

SoulChef feat. Unknown Suspect-Never Too Late

I was put on to this record by Incise's people. Apparently dukes (producer for Prince Ali's I Miss 1994) recently created a label entitled Kitchen Dip Records & one of their new acts is SoulChef. You can cop his tapes here.
This is my favorite jawn off Remember When, the production really stands out and this dude Unknown Suspect rips it. Nostalgic rapps nahmean?

Statik Selektah feat. Kali, Fashawn & Evidence-The Coast

One thing I don't do is give undue props. That said, Statik Selektah has shown countless examples of him being this generation's Primo. Dukes doesn't have the consistency nor the prowess with the hooks, but I mean are you hearing this instrumental? Are you seeing my man rockin' the Warriors tee? Shit is beyond ill man. Especially when Fash drops his lyrical thesis.

Jay Electronica-My World

I wasn't really feeling this track when it first came out, but I've pulled a complete 180 since. I mean, the instrumental itself is pure fire, and Jay doing a direct tribute to Nas is that illness. And what's fucking with some Jackie Kennedy references?!?!?

Marco Polo & Ruste Juxx feat. Sean Price-Fuckin Wit A Gangster

A new jawn off the Marco Polo & Ruste Juxx album Exxecution. Definitely a solid release, especially in comparison to lots of the other albums that have been released this year. Sean P's guest verse is type clutch, which is to be expected.

Method Man feat. Redman feat. Saukrates:A-Yo

This is a track off the newest Mef & Red album that came out approximately a year ago. It was the lead single and you've probably already heard it, but it's a quality effort, and as such deserves a post.
**This isn't directly off Blackout 2.

Inverse-Rise And Shine

You can find this on Inverse's So True EP, that was released in '09. From my limited understanding, Inverse is a Cali-based group equipping some of the illest blog-rap producers for their optimistic rapps. I'm not such a big fan of these guys, but Rise And Shine is definitely a dope cut, and the production is top-notch.

K. Sparks-Good Morning

You can find this jawn on K. Sparks' newest effort A Day In The Life. I was put on by the people at HipNott Records. I've heard about G.C.'s innovative method of production (sample-free), and I had my doubts, but dukes really produces some ill instrumentals for K Sparks' to ill over. Not to say that A Day In The Life is an immaculate project, there are a fair share of mediocre cuts, but all in all it's a dope project well worth checking out.

Diablo Archer-Kisses In The Rain

I only recently found out about Diablo Archer, and I have to admit that his '09 release Lift has been stuck in the tape deck for a second now. The production on Lift is type ill with countless soul samples, and Diablo proves his flow to be very versatile by flowing poetic over all the beats. Kisses In The Rain is an intro track which explains it's brevity, but it's still probably the dopest off Lift.

Mos Def feat. Talib Kweli-History

Although Dante Smith is one of my favorite emcees of recent memory, I have a hard time cosigning a large part of the man's work. Put simply, when Mos comes to rapp, I'm all ears, but when he comes to sing, I'm quite a bit more apathetic.
History comes off his newest effort The Ecstatic. Definitely a mild disappointment, but the Black Star reunion sounds as good as it did in '98.

Cam'ron-Where I Know You From

Like an true ignoramus, I doubted Cam's ability to craft another opus. Crime Pays is similar to all his previous efforts in that it's composed of half dopeness and half filler. It's like dukes doesn't age at all, his talent in creating witticisms is unrivaled.
And I believe Where I Know You From to be the unrivaled best off Crime Pays. Shit's without competition.

ill Poetix-The Touch

I found this EP deep in the vaults, and surprisingly it's one of the illest tapes of '09 in my most humblest. Not much time to say anything else, but check this jawn, I believe it to be some quality shit.

Statik Selektah feat. Termanology & Royce Da 5'9-Come Around

You can find this on Statik Selektah's newest effort entitled 100 Proof: The Hangover. Another excellent album, but that's what's come to be expected every time Statik drops any material.
On Come Around, he enlists the help of Term and 5'9. On the promo version of this jawn, Kweli appears too, but on the album copy (or mine at least), there is no Kweli verse. Shit, still knocks something proper.

(Not the official version, no Kweli verse on the album)
