It's type surprising when I read/hear people say that he's one of the greatest and all that jazz. No doubt dukes had heavy influence in the '90's, and the skills/production were certainly there, but the subject matter is light. How can you be the greatest and yet the majority of your discography is predicated on cannabis & partying? I mean, I like Too $hort & Devin The Dude, but to say that they're among the greatest, come on now...
