As soon as I got into Ras Kass' Soul On Ice, I remember looking for similar tapes, with emcees that could genuinely spit. Canibus' Can-I-Bus was atop the list for dope emcees with 'weak' production. Don't believe the hype. Both Can-I-Bus and Soul On Ice are supremely produced, with dope instrumentals for days. In fact, there's countless emcees who've spit over the Get Retarded beat. None using pointlessly intellectual phrases like Sir Canibus though.
