Of all the major releases (TI, Em, Luda, etc..) throughout 08-09, Game's L.A.X. has no competition. The pure consistency and tenacity on what was supposed to be his last album made it a gem for future generations.
Especially when he was dropping heat like Money. Not the hottest Cool&Dre beat that Game ever spit over (that probably goes to Big Dreams), but the braggadocio rhymes and the Pablo Escobar reference make this well worth remembering.
