Digable Planets- Last Of The Spiddyocks

Digable Planets was this group back in the '90's (and still somewhat active today) that really bought credibility towards the fusion of jazz and hip hop as genres. They weren't the first ones to spit over live jazz instrumentation, yet they were the first to get serious crossover appeal doing it. The success of Digable Planets was and still is a two-edged sword in my opinion. These cats were goofy and never rhymed about anything of substance. A prime example is the hook for this very jawn:

"I bust raps y'all/In love with naps y'all"

Not knocking naps in any way, but I doubt anyone can take a line like that very seriously. Still, Last Of The Spiddyocks is perfect when you decide to light some greenery.
