Big Noyd was a fairly talented weed carrier for Havoc and Prodigy back in the mid-90's. Duke appeared on Give Up The Goods (Just Step), and he was earning some nice figures, 'bout to blow up his self, until he caught a bid. When he was locked up, his record company made all the decisions for Episodes Of A Hustla (what made the cut and what didn't). Eventually, the album was reduced to 11 songs, of which 2 were interludes/skits, and the opening track was the intro.
Needless to say, that set Noyd back, but as far as I know, dude is still recording and blessing the mic with that vintage QB sound.
For my money, the album-titled jawn shits on the rest of the tape with ease. The instrumental is pure mid-90's boom bap, and Big Noyd's storytelling is more than enough to capture your attention for 4 minutes.
