When I posted the original Souls Of Mischief jawn, I mentioned that the instrumental was forever entrenched in the minds of any self-respecting head. However, there are are a plethora of emcees who have put their own distinctive touch on the classic A+ instrumental.
The Pac Div remix of this jawn is really solid and it puts a modern twist on an beat that was released more than 15 years ago. There's also a regional aspect present, where hip hop has evolved so much between '93 Till and Pac Div's Blend Tape, yet that crisp Cali sound shines through no matter what.
