Reks- Back To The Essence

After being pleasantly surprised by Reks' Grey Hairs (like so many others) I decided to revisit the rest of his discography. As much as I fucks with Reks, I have to admit that his earlier shits were equipped with terrible production. Dude could always spit, Along Came The Chosen is proof of that, the reason he's getting better reception nowadays is the caliber of producers he's starting to attract. Statik Selektah, Primo,and Xtra P among others.
This is a jawn off his sophomore album, Rekless. Although the beat is very minimalistic, Reks uses that to his advantage to craft a carefully orchestrated story with his verses.
