Every time I listen to this joint it takes me to a different place, from Q and Phife bullshittin' to the beautiful jazz sample for the chorus. That brings up the little-documented point that Pete Rock produced this jawn, but never really gets credit for it. I mean, why would he? Doesn't this sound like just another instrumental straight out of Ali Shaheed Muhammad's catalog?
