M-Dot's self-acronymed mixtape M.oney D.oesn't O.wn T.hought is a tale of two sounds. The first and most prominent is a grimy undercurrent of raw lyricism and dirty instrumentals that overtakes you with their blatant dopeness. The other sound is much more refined with glossy beats and complacent rhymes, designed for commercial appeal. No need to worry as the second sound only plagues a small minority of this tape. The rest is full of Boston-brand East Coast boom bap.
