Cunninlynguists- K.K.K.Y.

I could never understand why the Cunninlynguists didn't make it big. Although they are independent artists on their own label, consider their minor yet vocal resemblance to numerous members of The Dungeon Family, Goodie Mob, and even OutKast.
Obviously their sound is quite a bit different from the aforementioned southern staples, but it's not that different.
The production is certainly there, and the lyricism is more than present. So what the problem is? Especially if they keep producing jawns on the level of K.K.K.Y.
